Internal Philanthropy
DZ Carnival
DZ Carnival was an event created by our 2019 VP of Philanthropy, Rosy Rodriguez. During this event, fraternities at CSUN went head-to-head against each other to play carnival games, which included, bobbing for apples, arm wrestling, obstacle course, etc. DZ Carnival was held at a park near CSUN, and we had various carnival themed activities (outside of the competitions), foods and drinks for those that attended to enjoy.
DZHOP
DZHOP is an annual Spring Semester event that the Pi Gamma chapter holds, in which we have an IHOP themed event. Fraternities and Sororities at CSUN, family, and friends are able to attend and enjoy breakfast foods made and served by the ladies of Pi Gamma. DZHOP is usually held at our Chapter House in Northridge, and there is always a great turn out of guests coming to attend to support our philanthropy.
Foods and drinks that are usually served include: orange juice, pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc.
DZ Dukeout
DZ Dukeout was a philanthropy event held in Fall 2019 and hosted by our VP of Philanthropy, Rosy Rodriguez. During this event, multiple Fraternities at CSUN competed against each other in a game of football. The gentlemen from these Fraternities attended our philanthropy event to play in our football tournament and also support their brothers that were playing.
